Message of the President and Chief Executive Officer
Among the important principles our public servants are asked to always keep in mind is that public office is a public trust. Public trust does not only demand transparency, but requires our public servants to be professional, responsive, accountable, and innovative as they carry out their day-to-day functions. Ultimately, what is expected of public servants is for them to promote the public welfare and interest.
Our Graduate School of Public and Development Management (GSPDM) empowers and nurtures public servants in order for them to exercise their functions more efficiently and effectively amidst the challenges of an ever-evolving society. GSPDM allows our students to examine complex governance challenges with modern perspectives and create practical solutions to societal concerns with the aid of innovation and data-science.
At the end of the day, the success of our public servants can only be measured by how their work has made the lives of their fellow Filipinos much better. Through GSPDM, public servants would have the necessary knowledge and skills to make an impact in society and to reinforce public trust among public servants.
GSPDM continues to influence the new breed of public servants who pursue excellence for the purpose of building the nation.
