The Master in Public Management (MPM) Online Batch 1 (Batch Banyuhay) Virtual Graduation Rites.
The ceremony is the culmination of a 15-month academic journey of Fifteen (15) MPM graduates. The Batch Banyuhay is the first batch to go through the revitalized curriculum of the MPM Program that was fully delivered online from October 2020 to December 2021 via Zoom and iGNITE, iGSPDM Nexus of Information Technology and Education, GSPDM’s own learning management platform.

The Master in Public Management (MPM) Online Batch 1 (Batch Banyuhay) will be having its Virtual Graduation Rites on January 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
The ceremony is the culmination of a 15-month academic journey of Fifteen (15) MPM graduates. Atty Engelbert C. Caronan, Jr., DAP President and CEO, will welcome the graduates and guests to the ceremony while Dr. Lizan E. Perante-Calina will deliver the MPM Program Overview. The event will be graced by Commissioner Karen Lucia Gomez-Dumpit, Commission of Human Rights and Alumna of the MPM Batch 1, who will serve as the Guest Speaker.

The Development Academy of the Philippines-Graduate School of Public and Development Management (DAP-GSPDM) and the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center (ITRMC) forged a partnership to co-develop and implement innovative programs anchored on the Universal Health Care that will advance the futures of health in Region I.
One activity under the said collaboration is the continuing capacity building of healthcare practitioners in the region where DAP-GSPDM will roll out three Certificate Courses that will target the needs of ITRMC based on the result of the organizational assessment that was first conducted by the Graduate School in 2021.
The second certificate course to roll out is the Certificate Course on Public Health Sector Finance and Budgeting (CCPHSFB) on January 11-29, 2022 with Dir. Frances Rose Elgo-Mamaril, Mr. Lindsley Jeremiah Villarante, Dr. Maria Socorro Santos, Dr. Gloanne Adolor, Dr. Terence John Antonio, Ms. Maria Ella Guerrero and Dr. Melissa Sena as the faculty.
CCPHSFB provide participants with knowledge on public health sector finance and budgeting in the hospital setting. It covers broad theoretical knowledge on the global direction towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and the realities brought about by policies on Public Financial Management (PFM). This course will provide the practical skills on cost and rate-setting as defined in the hospital financial management and financial analysis in the context of strategic management.
