NCPAG Governance Futures Lab

The DAP Graduate School has formalized its futures collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Ormoc City- Sub-Regional Local Governance Resource Center and DILG Region 8 - Eastern Visayas. The signing took place last March 24, 2022, 11:00 AM at the New Ormoc City Hall.

This partnership shall open a “myriad of opportunities in developing governance laboratories anchored on phronetic leadership and Futures Thinking”.

March 30, 2022 - The Master in Public Management major in Health Systems and Development (MPM HSD) Regular Batch 5 commenced today, with a total of 47 scholars from all over the country.

The co-learners were warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Graduate School of Public and Development Management, Dr. Lizan E. Perante-Calina and by the OIC Division Chief of the Learning and Development Division of the Health Human Resource Development Bureau of the Department of Health, Dr. Janet Fandiño.

Ms. Nikki Billedo, the Program Manager of the Health and Governance and Protection Cluster, walked through the history of the Graduate School and the MPM HSD Program. She also shared the Academic Rules of the Graduate School. This was then followed by the presentation of Mr. Tj Bayona from the Office of the Academy Registrar and Ms. Therese Javier, DAP Librarian. They oriented the students regarding admission requirements and library concerns.

The program included an expectations setting and getting to know you activity facilitated by Ms. Queency Raagas, Learning Manager of the MPM HSD RB5, and the discussion of Online Session Guidelines and Virtual House Rules by Ms. Maricel Tiagan, Learning Associate.

The event was well-attended by representatives from Department of Health Central Office and the Health Cluster of the GSPDM of the Development Academy of the Philippines.
