The DAP Graduate School of Public and Development Management (DAP-GSPDM) joins the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) in celebrating the Bangsamoro Foundation Day on January 21, 2022. The week-long celebration is in its third year, honoring the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law and the greater pursuit of the Bangsamoro people of giving form to their dreams and aspirations by way of a new governance and self-determination.
Currently, the DAP-GSPDM holds an ongoing Master in Public Management Major in Regional and Local Governance and Development (MPM-RLGD) composed of and tailored exclusively for Bangsamoro civil servants.

January 15, 2022 - The first batch of the Master in Public Management Online Program of theDAP Graduate School held its Virtual Graduation Rites via Zoom where Fifteen (15) graduates were conferred with the degree in Master in Public Management and Eight (😎 graduates with Diploma in Public Management.
Atty. Engelbert C. Caronan, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) welcomed the guests to the event, and the Dean of GSPDM, Dr. Lizan E. Perante-Calina, delivered the Program Overview.
The Commencement Rites was graced by Commissioner Karen Lucia S. Gomez-Dumpit of the Commission on Human Rights and an MPM Batch 1 Alumna, who served as the Commencement Speaker. In her message, she commended the graduates for carrying on and surviving the program given the circumstances, be it being in isolation or having to take care of their family members who were infected with COVID or balancing it with their work. She thanked them for choosing to better themselves to provide the best service to our fellow Filipinos and how this motivated them to use everything they have learned from the program, from theories to principles as well as the experiences of their co-learners as they perform their respective jobs. She wrapped up her message by telling the graduates that the values they learned from the program will stay with them and that ensuring good governance rests in their hands.
The Public Manager’s Oath and the Alumni Oath were led by the representatives of the DAP-GSPDM Development Patriots Alumni, Dr. Rodney Boncajes and Mr. Niel John Oclarit, both MPM-HSD Alumni.
Four graduates were awarded with the Dean’s Special Citation while Mr. Marlon F. Tagorda was awarded With Honors and Best Master’s Thesis. The class president, Mr. Joedel Peñaranda, was awarded as the Class Valedictorian and the Leadership Award. He then addressed the graduates and guests through a Class Response where his message revolved around the Core Values of DAP-GSPDM which are Integrity, Professionalism, Patriotism and Resiliency.
The program was implemented by the Health Governance and Social Protection Cluster (HGSPC) of GSPDM with Learning Management Team composed of Ms. Nikki Billedo, Program Manager; Ms. Susan Gaan, Learning Manager; and Ms. Donna Baguinguito, Learning Associate.

The DAP Graduate School of Public and Development Management formally opens the registration for the Certificate Course on Public Finance and Budgeting.
